Short Story Mechanics--At Your Own Pace
The Short Story Mechanics class is designed to give you the same information and the same feedback from Richard as you’d receive in a standard class but in a way that works with your schedule, and is cheaper than traditional classes.

Advanced Creative Writing Workshop
The Advanced Creative Writing Workshop is a reading and writing intensive course designed for intermediate and advanced writers. Each week the class will discuss two selected stories from the Best Horror of the Year, Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy, and Best Short Stories of the Year and critique two classmate stories as well.

The Novel Workshop 365 is designed to help the student through all aspects of novel writing: prewriting (development), writing, editing, and submitting. The end goal is to have a novel over 66.000 words by the end of the year.

Contemporary Dark Fiction
The Contemporary Dark Fiction Class is a reading and writing intensive class for beginning and intermediate students. This class discusses the many different genres that contribute to the current dark fiction landscape (fantasy, science fiction, horror, Southern gothic, crime, neo-noir, transgressive, magical realism, and literary fiction) while simultaneously learning techniques, mechanics, structure, and essential elements that can be applied to ALL writing.
