This class focuses on techniques to amplify the mood and tone of your writing, including foreshadowing, sensory imagery, and a brief introduction to symbolism.
Incorporating sexual (and sensual) situations into written work often proves difficult for even the most skilled writers. This session is designed to guide writers through difficulties in crafting scenes of a sensual and sexual nature.
Writing what you know is boring, so we will learn how to write a plethora of others by exploring illuminating texts and using research to ensure we write characters of different nationalities, genders, sexual orientations, backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, and other identity markers in an inclusive, respectful, and convincing way.
